When completing an order on the site, you can choose between having the order delivered, or 'self-pickup'. If you choose self-pickup, we will let you know when the order is ready, and you can collect it from our factory shop in Birmingham.
If you choose to have your order delivered, the site automatically calculates the courier and shipping cost, based the rules below.
Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment (although please note the section on perishable orders, below). Fedex usually delivers within 24 hours of dispatch, and Royal Mail within 48 hours.
Packages shipped using Fedex also have tracking and signed-for delivery, for added peace of mind.
When fresh boilies or any other perishable product is ordered for delivery please keep in mind that:
This ensures that should there be a failed delivery on the due date, a further day is still available for re-delivery or collection from the depot.
Should nobody be in to sign for your package then the driver will endeavour to leave it with a neighbour. If this is likely to be the situation it would be helpful if you could provide a near neighbour's house number in the comments box on the delivery address screen.
In the event of the driver being unable to deliver a card will be left asking you to contact Fedex by phone or E-mail to rearrange delivery. In the event of no contact with Fedex after 6 days, the package will be returned to us. In this event we will hold the package for a further 7 days after which we will refund the cost of the goods less the original delivery charge and the fee charged for the return of the package.
If you state in the address comments that the package may be left at a designated place, we will endeavour to convey this to Fedex (not normally a problem) who will then leave it without signature (proof of delivery). In this situation we cannot be held responsible for loss of the goods.
